PITTSBURGH, PA — Inspired by a recent rerun of Wheel of Fortune, Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu has announced that he has contacted host Pat Sajak in hopes of buying a vowel to add to his name. “It will probably be an ‘I,’” Polamalu said. “Make it Piolamalu. But I could go for an ‘E’ to make it Polamalue. I’m not sure what I am going to do. But shit, they’re so cheap, I may just get both.” Polamalu’s comment refers to the fact that the price of vowels has not increased at all in 25 years, staying steady at just $250 per — “A bargain at twice the price,” according to the All-Pro. Polamalu said he’ll make the decision on the vowels before the Super Bowl, after he consults with family and friends and finds out if he’s going to have to buy a bunch of Chad Johnson jerseys as a result of the move. “I am also going to look to Pat for some guidance,” Polamalu said. “After all, he is the expert.”

It’s going to be tough for this sport to sweep any nations, but it’s still pretty frickin’ cool!
