WASHINGTON, DC — President-elect Barack Obama is spending Friday working on helping out the nation’s sporting scene by blasting out free and unsolicited advice to various leagues, teams and athletes. “I have a lot of stuff going on right now,” Obama said. “Which is why this is so important, that I am choosing to delay things like selecting a Treasury Secretary, stuff like that.” Obama indicated that he is going to start by sending over a more detailed proposal for a college football playoff system, an issue important to him. But he’s not limiting it to just that. “I’ve got some thoughts on instant replay that I am going to share with Bud Selig, maybe open up his eyes a bit,” Obama said. “I am going to talk to Wade Phillips, too. I have some trick plays that I drew up that I think can get the Dallas Cowboys out of their offensive funk. And if there is enough time, I am going to head over to the gym and see if I can sho Dwight Howard a couple things. His footwork is all messed up in the low post. So it promises to be a pretty busy day.”
