Packer fans disgusted: Favre would’ve thrown 4 tds

GREEN BAY, WI—Aaron Rogers has impressed the football world in his first two NFL starts, leading the Packers to a 2-0 start and throwing no interceptions thus far. On Sunday’s game against the
Lions, Rogers threw for three touchdowns and finished with a 103.6 QB rating en route to a 48-25 victory.

Many Packer fans, however, were unsatisfied with Rogers’
performance and feel that icon and now-Jet Brett Favre would have performed even better.

“Yeah, Aaron did okay,” said diehard cheesehead Danny Hanks “Three touchdown passes isn’t too shabby. But to me there’s no question Brett would have thrown at least four. At least.”

After Favre’s departure over the summer, Packers training
camp was marked by Rogers being repeatedly booed by fans who were upset to see the future hall-of-famer go, prompting many analysts to wonder if Green Bay’s allegiance was to their quarterback or their team.

“Aaron did a good job, but I didn’t see the childlike enthusiasm and love of the game Brett brought to the table,” Green Bay resident
Will Silverman told SSNN. “I
don’t feel that Brett’s memory was really honored by [Rogers]. There’s winning,
and then there’s winning with class. Aaron hasn’t demonstrated that to me yet.”

“I’m still not sold on Rogers
to be honest,” said diehard fan Henry Oxman, who inexplicably was wearing a Jets jersey despite his stated allegiance. “328 yards and 3 TDs on the road and a nearly perfect rating in the first half against a team expected to make the playoffs? Favre could have shown up shitfaced two minutes before kickoff and
done that much.”

When it was pointed out that Rogers led his team to victory Sunday while Favre did not, Oxman replied, “Yeah, but
that was the Patriots. They probably cheated. Fuck them.”
