Prostitute accused of involvement with NFL player fears reputation may be ruined

LAS VEGAS, NV — Until May of last year, Rosie Cruz lived a nice, quiet life as a Las Vegas prostitute. But when Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Richard Seigler was arrested on charges of running a prostitution ring, Cruz found herself accused of one society’s most frowned-upon transgressions: involvement with an NFL player.

“You have no idea how much these rumors have hurt my family, friends and fellow prostitutes,” Cruz told SSNN. “It’s been a nightmare. I fear I’ll never be able to regain my pimp’s trust again.”

When charges against Seigler were dropped on March 10, Cruz was re-instated as a call-girl at the BootyShack ranch, but the taint of this horrible accusation remains.

“I get strange looks from the other girls. I get customers that turn their nose up at me,” Cruz complained. “What bothers me most is the hypocrisy. There’s a girl here who was caught in a hotel room with members of the Dallas Cowboys, for God’s sake – and she has the nerve to judge me?”

Cruz credits her firm faith in the Almighty with steadying her through the storm of these trying days. In fact, her rigorously pious upbringing is what steered her away from the kind of degrading behavior she’s been accused of.

“I take time from performing sex acts for money every day to thank God for leading me on a straight and narrow path,” Cruz said. “My parents were very strict; they warned me and my five siblings of the dangers of drugs, alcohol and sex with professional football players.”

Cruz is quick to add that she’s been no angel: “As a teen-aged hooker, I did experiment with dating football players, but that’s all in the past. As an adult whore, I look back at those mistakes and thank God I didn’t go down that path. Sure, these are tough times, but I know that someday people will see me not as someone who leads an illicit sexual lifestyle, but simply as a two-bit harlot who has sex with strangers for money.”

It’s going to be tough for this sport to sweep any nations, but it’s still pretty frickin’ cool!
