Pryor visits Ohio State campus, meets teachers for first, probably last time

COLUMBUS, OH — High school phenom Terrelle Pryor visited the campus of Ohio State University this weekend for a guided tour of classrooms, science labs and lecture auditoriums that he will almost certainly never see during his matriculation at the school. Faculty members relished the opportunity to meet Pryor before the gridiron standout actually becomes a student at OSU and vanishes from all academic activity.

Professor Andrew Higgins took great pleasure in his fleeting contact with the future star. “He’s a very nice young man. I look forward to seeing him at games, pep rallies and occasionally dashing through the hallways – perhaps because he’s forgotten his playbook in his locker or something.”

Pryor also met many current Ohio State students, many of whom will – in theory – share a classroom with him in the highly unlikely event that the QB ever attends class. Kevin Drexler, an economics major and Pryor’s tour guide for the weekend, was particularly impressed.

“This is all very exciting,” he told SSNN. “It’s an honor to meet the guy whose term papers I might be doing for the next three or four years.”

After a cursory walk through various soon-to-be irrelevant classrooms, Drexler showed Pryor the cafeteria, the gym, and the football field and locker room. The inquisitive Pryor then asked about the location of the campus library, further impressing Drexler with his sense of humor.

“The library,” chuckled Drexler. “He really had me for a second.”

It’s going to be tough for this sport to sweep any nations, but it’s still pretty frickin’ cool!
