New Jersey moron actually thinks Brady might not play in Super Bowl

WEST ORANGE, N.J. — 24-year-old Johnny Marciano, a sixth-year senior at Rutgers, is extremely excited today as he anticipates Patriots quarterback Tom Brady potentially having to sit out the Super Bowl.

Media reports over the past week have indicated that Brady, the runaway NFL MVP who is coming off of a record-setting campaign and seeking his fourth Super Bowl ring, has been spotted walking around in a walking boot, indicating his ankle injury may be more serious than originally thought.

“Can you freakin’ believe that we’re gonna get to play the Patriots with freakin’ Matt Cassel at quarterback?” Marciano was heard asking his friend, Dominick Rodriguez, after lunch on Saturday. “That’s unreal! We can totally beat the Pats since they’re gonna be playing without Brady!”

While it is generally known to every human being on the face of the earth that Brady will be in the game, even if he has to have his leg surgically removed and replaced with Bridget Moynahan’s, Marciano still seems to believe that the rumors of Brady’s demise are not greatly exaggerated.

“I’ve had a high ankle sprain,” Marciano told a bemused Mike and the Mad Dog on 660 The Fan, New York’s all-sports radio station. “I got one in junior high football. Hurts like hell. No way that Brady is going to play in the Super Bowl. Giants rule!”

Marciano refuses to believe that he could be misinformed about Brady’s injury status, and has said that he’s simply exercising his rights as a fan. He also denies that he wrote the following message to the “New England Patriots” message board on ESPN.com, which was posted by username JohnnyMarcianoRutgers05:

“Good luck winning the game without your prissy little metrosexule (sic) quarterback Tom Brady, jerks! Go Giants!”
