Garnett trying to get Pierce to watch Swingers with him

BOSTON, MA — In what is quickly generating the potential for internal conflict on a team attempting to win an NBA Championship, reports from Bostin indicate that Kevin Garnett really wants to watch Swingers with Paul Pierce.

“We go out sometimes after games and stuff,” Pierce said. “Pretty much every time we go out, KG asks if I want to ‘pop in’ Swingers. If I say no, then he asks me if I at least want to watch the Vegas scene together. It’s kind of sick.”

When questioned about this desire, Garnett downplayed any controversy.

“This is not a big deal,” Garnett said. “I simply see some similarities between the relationship T and Mikey have and the one between myself and Paul. I thought perhaps we’d enjoy exploring those together. It’s not a huge thing.”

When asked to expound on his view, Garnett offered a few examples. “First, I am much taller, so that’s a no-brainer right there. I’m skinny, whereas as Mikey – I mean, Paul – could stand to lose a couple. Plus, I’m more successful, like Trent, and I am awesome at NHL ‘94, also like Trent. Finally, when we go out, I am always talking to the women, getting them all excited, and then Pierce comes in with some stupid line about how he’s not at Kansas anymore.”

Pierce, however, disagrees.

“Wait, he thinks he’s Trent?” Pierce laughed. “No way. I’m Trent. He’s Mikey. Wandering lost through life, all this talent but no idea how to use it? Sound familiar?”
