Garcia punk’d again

HONOLULU, HI — Jeff Garcia is again reeling from having been publicly embarrassed by Ashton Kutcher on his television program, Punk’d.

This time, Kutcher worked with NFC Pro Bowl quarterbacks Brett Favre and Tony Romo to punk Garcia.

“We all got together and decided we would really try and get Jeff,” Romo told SSNN. “So we came up with this plan where we’d try and convince him he was going to the Pro Bowl. You know what? It worked perfectly. Apparently, in his heart of hearts, he really felt he should be a Pro Bowler. Hilarious!”

The ruse was simple enough – the group pretended that Romo was going to be injured and that he’d require Garcia to replace him.

“Originally we were just gonna call Jeff, get him all excited, and then have Ashton jump out and tell him he was punk’d,” Favre said. “But he just got so damn excited. He immediately started talking about buying plane tickets to Hawaii, and all of that. So we decided to take it just a touch further.”

The trio agreed that Kutcher will be the one to inform Garcia of the prank, which Kutcher claims is one of the best punks ever.

“This is a great punk,” he said. “Garcia really bought it. But it’s still believable. I mean, it’s not like we told him he was going to start the Pro Bowl.”

It’s going to be tough for this sport to sweep any nations, but it’s still pretty frickin’ cool!
