LSU backup hoping to top last year’s exploits

BATON ROUGE, LA –- LSU backup quarterback Ryan Perrilloux told reporters that he plans to “shock and awe” fans and coaches alike before this year’s Sugar Bowl, by topping his status as a “person of interest” in regards to a counterfeiting scheme that led to him meeting with federal investigators immediately after last season’s Sugar Bowl. “You fools thought I was a playa last bowl season, just wait ’till you see what I got planned this year,” Perrilloux announced. “It’ll knock you on ya’ ass!” Perrilloux has been no stranger to controversy since arriving in Baton Rouge as one of the nation’s top signal callers in 2005. After originally committing to Texas, Perrilloux switched to LSU, where he has backed up Quarterbacks JaMarcus Russell and Matt Flynn for the past three seasons. “I thought I’d be starting a long time ago, and be in the League by now,” Perrilloux told SSNN. “It’s time for Ryan to get paid some real money. I don’t want to go into details, but this deal I got planned is like Ocean’s 11 meets The Italian Job. Ryan’s gonna be bankin’, that’s for sure.” LSU is scheduled to take on Ohio State in the BCS title game on January 7.
