DALLAS, TX — “Disgusted.”
That was the singular phrase that an injured and emotionally battered Brett Favre used to describe Tony Romo’s four-touchdown performance against the Packers last night.
“This is totally disgusting behavior,” Favre said. “Here I am, paving the way for this guy to be like me, letting everyone compare him to me, letting him play exactly like me – all this stuff. And how does he repay me? By bitching my team for four touchdowns in a nationally televised game? Well, no more. Henceforth Brett Favre no longer allows Tony Romo to be compared to him.”
Favre, who was injured in the Packers 37-27 defeat at the hand of the Cowboys, was apparently serious, as he spent hours Thursday night and Friday morning scouring Google for any stories that contained the words “Brett Favre,” “similar,” and “Tony Romo.”
“I found a lot of matches,” Favre said. “And you know what? I emailed every one of those writers and told them, ‘No more.’ I told them that if they want to compare Tony Romo to someone else, that’s fine, and that they can feel free to compare him to someone like Michael Vick, or Rex Grossman. But no more Brett Favre. That is off the table.”
Romo was reached for comment at practice, where he made a series of comments about what the media likes to do, was extremely vague about his future, and then scrambled around for awhile before attempting some impossible passes that resulted in interceptions.

It’s going to be tough for this sport to sweep any nations, but it’s still pretty frickin’ cool!
