Gundy’s rage stoked by Bose instruction manual

STILLWATER, OK — Oklahoma State Cowboys head football coach Mike Gundy held a markedly intense press conference this morning, where he expressed both anger and disgust.

“I want to talk to you about something,” said Coach Gundy, as he held up an instruction manual for a Bose Car Stereo System. “Three-fourths of these car stereo instructions are inaccurate – they’re fiction. This manual had to have been written by a person… who has never installed a car stereo before.”

The coach’s demeanor rapidly turned from frustration to rage, as he continued to lambaste the writers of Bose Audio manuals.

“If this person had ever installed a stereo before, then they would know… that you cannot connect the speakers… until you have the [expletive] wires!!!” Gundy shouted at a gathering of media members after Cowboys’ practice Thursday. “I spent hours last night trying to follow this manual, and how am I rewarded? I have a dashboard that is torn up, all because I did my best to go by the steps in this manual. I am downgraded, all because I tried to do what’s right; tried to follow the rules.”

The Oklahoma sports media continued to sit in awkward silence as Coach Gundy concluded the press conference with a flourish: “This manual is garbage; and the company that put it out is garbage. Makes me wanna puke,” the coach screamed as he stormed away from the microphones.

In a statement released by the Bose Corporation, the company expressed “concern,” and said that they would “look into the matter” and possibly consider revising their manuals for future car stereo packages.

It’s going to be tough for this sport to sweep any nations, but it’s still pretty frickin’ cool!
