Bowen, James connected even after finals end

CLEVELAND, OH — LeBron James was a number one draft pick and an immediate star in the NBA. Bruce Bowen was undrafted and played for three other teams before joining the Spurs in 2001. Aside from that, the parallels between the two players are uncanny.

Bowen and James are two of the more decorated NBA small forwards, and both players had their second sons born during the NBA Finals.

“I’ll just say that both Ozmel Bowen and Bryce James definitely stand out from the rest of their class,” said Professor Charles Xavier, the head of a special school the NBA has set up for its players’ children – appropriately called the NBA Institute. “I don’t believe that children are born evil, but Ozmel has already displayed ‘dirty’ characteristics. When he plays with other children, he’s always tripping them and stepping on their ankles. He’s ruined the careers of three NBA children already.”

Xavier said that LeBron’s child has also displayed some odd behavior. Many of the children are jealous of the attention that Bryce is receiving, and Xavier believes Bryce and LeBron have let the publicity go to their heads.

“Bryce walks around talking about being a global icon,” he said. “And while most children are building modest houses out of Legos, Bryce builds mansions – literally. I’ve never had to deal with an ego like his.”

Xavier hinted to SSNN that because of their behavior, the two may be moved to the class taught by Eric Magnus, affectionately known to the kids as Professor Magneto.

It’s going to be tough for this sport to sweep any nations, but it’s still pretty frickin’ cool!
