Parker taking next career step

SAN ANTONIO, TX — San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker has it pretty good. He’s the starting point guard for the San Antonio Spurs and is regarded as one of the best players in the league. After games, he goes home to his fiancée, the beautiful Desperate Housewives‘ star Eva Longoria. Apparently Parker has decided that getting into the rap game was the inevitable next step – he released his debut album TP. this past month. The first single from the all-French LP is “Balance-toi,” and hip-hop luminaries are already comparing Parker to some of the biggest names in hip-hop. “There’s so much to say about T.P.,” music mogul Russell Simmons told SSNN in a phone interview. “To me, he’s like a blend of Shaq and Ron Artest. It’s very exciting stuff and I’m sure literally dozens of people are going to go nuts over this album.” SSNN sources have revealed that Parker is now in talks with Touchstone Pictures to play Shaq’s sidekick in the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 mega-hit Kazaam.
