Ohio State disqualified from NCAA Tourney

COLUMBUS, OH — The Ohio State men’s basketball team was unceremoniously dismissed from the National Championship tournament on Tuesday because of a dispute over the age of one of their players. Head coach Thad Matta said the team was disappointed by the decision, and that he had no idea what the specific violation was. An insider who worked on the NCAA investigation told SSNN that the Buckeyes have had a player who is “somewhere between 30 and 40 years old” playing for them almost the entire year. “I can’t give any names, but the student-athlete in question might be a freshman center who appears to be wearing a catcher’s glove on his face.” The investigation started when NCAA officials were told that the player was taking a class called “CSC 214: How to Forge Your Birth Certificate MLB-Style.”
