SEATTLE, WA — Several members of the Dallas Cowboys expressed serious anger toward quarterback Tony Romo for out-choking them during the Cowboys’ 21-20 playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

“Look, it should have been who was known for choking the game away,” said Terry Glenn, whose fumble on the one-yard line led to a Seahawks safety. “You fumble on the one-yard line in a playoff game, they should remember you afterward. You should be the lead of all the stories.”

Romo fumbled a snap on what would have likely been a game-winning field goal with just over a minute left in the contest. The Cowboys defense, led by safety Roy Williams, was sad that it would not be remembered for its contribution to the loss.

“Look, we did what we could,” Williams said. “Did you see how fast they scored on us after the safety? Did you see all those missed tackles? We even tried to squander it away at the end, when they were trying to run out the clock. Just didn’t work, Romo choked too hard.”

Williams is referring to a Shaun Alexander first down scamper on the first play after Romo’s fumble, a run that allowed Seattle to run the clock down to where there were only a few ticks left on the clock when Dallas got the ball back at the end.

Marion Barber rushed for only four yards Saturday, and felt he deserved some consideration. And, of course, not to be left out, Terrell Owens put together an ugly performance and made a vocal case for himself.

“I feel like my game today was the perfect cap for my season,” Owens said. “I dropped balls, I only had 26 yards receiving, only two catches. I was a non-factor. But what can I do? Romo just choked too hard.”
