Fred Taylor reluctantly considering starting LT as FLEX
JACKSONVILLE, FL — Fred Taylor, owner of the FT Cruisers in the jaguars »”>Jacksonville Jaguars Clubhouse Fantasy League (JJCFL), is reluctantly considering starting LaDainian Tomlinson this weekend for the first time this season, due to Taylor’s questionable status for this weekend’s game.
“If I can’t go this weekend, I’m going to need a FLEX,” Taylor said, indicating that he’ll be moving Larry Johnson from his FLEX position to RB1. The JJCFL, after significant arguments from Taylor himself, decided to only have one running back slot following the 2004 season.
“I got a logjam, what can I say? I’ve got three guys who can play for my team. Unfortunately one of them has to sit out. But now, it looks like LT is gonna get a chance to show what he can do.”
Unofficial reports show that, with the 29th touchdown he scored on Taylor’s bench this season, LT broke the JJCFL record for most fantasy points scored by a player on someone’s bench, previously set by Priest Holmes, also playing for the FT Cruisers, in 2004.
